Terry Marshall is rightly regarded as one of New Zealand’s foremost Motor Racing photographers. Since the late 60’s, if it was worth watching, Terry was probably there, capturing the feel and the action with his superb shots.

As well as having his work regularly published in the New Zealand media, his reputation has also led to his work being featured internationally. Two of the most recent examples of this, are Paolo Marasca’s superb book “The V6 Ferraris of the Tasman Cup 1968-1970” and the recently released landmark work “Formula 5000 in New Zealand and Australia” by Wolfgang Klopfer - both of these publications heavily feature his photographs.
Terry is a quiet and modest person, who while recognizing that his photographs are extremely good, is still genuinely surprised when people want to own copies of his work.

I have been a fan of Terry’s photographs since the very early 70’s, so it is with genuine pleasure that I can now announce, after much hassling from me, that Terry has agreed to release a series of Numbered Limited Edition photos from his collection. The first four that we introduce on this page feature two of New Zealand’s finest drivers at the end of the 60’s, beginning of the 70’s. Chris Amon and Graeme McRae.
Great as technology is, the images on this page truly don’t do justice to the photos as they appear, when you have them in front of you. In line with Terry’s high standards, each photo is individually printed, mounted on white board, numbered and signed. As this process is time consuming, there can sometimes be a delay of up to 2 weeks, from the receipt of the order until dispatch ….. the wait is worth it. All photographs released are limited to 100 copies, all being numbered and signed by Terry.

The price of each photograph is NZ$195.00 including postage within New Zealand, or overseas NZ$195.00 with postage at cost and no charge for the careful packaging.
In the future we will be releasing further photographs in this series, with emphasis on the late Tasman Cars and Formula 5000. It is also planned to release a series featuring some of the great Saloon Cars and Sports Cars that have raced within New Zealand.
